Restaurant Consultation

Food Safety Managers Certification

The Rhode Island Department of Health requires every restaurant and food service operation to have a certified food safety manager on site when food is being prepared.

To be certified, food managers must complete an 8 hour course and score a 75% or better on the certification test.
